The South Shore Unit of Choke Canyon State Park has a range of activities for its visitors, like camping, boating, hiking, fishing and swimming. The area is abundant with wildlife, making it easy for birdwatchers or animal viewers to catch a glimpse. There are softball, volleyball and equestrian areas as well.
