    Grace Armantrout Museum

    Grace Armantrout lived in George West from 1920 until her death in 1990. She was a collector of local artifacts, and when she passed away she asked to have them displayed as a way to preserve the history of the area. Displays include heirlooms, various pieces of equipment, antiques and beauty items.

    Bigfoot Wallace Museum
    The town of Bigfoot changed its name after the self-proclaimed defender and historicial figure of Texas, William A.A. "Bigfoot" Wallace, who once lived in the area. The Bigfoot Wallace Musuem was built to look like Wallace's original cabin. It is open every second Saturday of each month or by appointment.
